Max Unfried



Max Unfried is a PhD student at the National University of Singapore’s Centre for Healthy Longevity, where he conducts research on aging biology using a combination of AI, complex systems, and lipidomics methodologies.

Unfried’s research aims to investigate the communication between cellular organelles and its relevance to healthy longevity and age-related diseases. He has presented his findings at the Longevity Med Summit, where he discussed the challenges of translating scientific innovations in longevity into products and services available to the public.

In addition to his research work, Unfried is involved in various other longevity-related initiatives. He is a founding partner of LongeVC, a venture capital firm supporting early-stage biotech and longevity-focused startups. Unfried has also been featured in a World Intellectual Property Organization study as one of the 28 AI leaders.

Unfried is also a business-minded scientist and has held leadership positions in financial and life science startups in the past. He is currently part of the core team of VitaDAO, a collective that funds and promotes longevity research, and serves as a scientific advisor to longevity startups and venture funds.
